1.      The distribution of institutions

(1)    367 medical and health institutions;

(2)    3295 clinics in villages;

(3)    490 private health institutions including clinics and dispensaries.

 

2.      The allocation of hospitals' accommodation

There are 16,062 beds according to the authorized size, and 12,286 beds by the fact in Chenzhou, of which 5,477 are in the municipal institutions and 6,809 are in the county-level institutions.

 

3.      The allocation of technical personnel in hospitals

Chenzhou's health institutions have a total of 17,050 staff including 3,147 country doctors and 769 rural midwives. Among them, 3,016 people have medium-grade professional titles or higher ones, and 5,358 people college degree or above; in addition, there are 4,317 practicing physician, 1,926 practicing physician assistants, 4,730 registered nurses and 1,112 pharmaceutical personnel.

 

4.      The allocation of buildings and equipment

In Chenzhou, the total assets of all health institutions are 2.329597 billion yuan; the total covered area is 2.065 million square meters; and there are 4,354 numerous equipments which are worth over 10,000 yuan.
