Staffs are placing books

With the bookcases and books sent by Guidong Xinhua Bookstore and Guidong Cultural Bureau to Shuangdong village, Lianhe village, and Xiaoshui village on August 7, 2012, all the 8 administrative villages of Dongluo were accomplished with “the village library”.

Cultural departments of Guidong County provided the bookcases, tables, chairs, management system boards, fire extinguisher and other devices to the “the village library” for free. Every library was equipped with more than 1500 books, involving the field of agricultural technology, politics, education, art and children.

The full coverage of “the village library” enabled all villagers to find the books they needed easily, putting an end to the history of “difficult to buy, to borrow, to read books.
