It was reported that the awarding ceremony for 2013 “star cup outstanding teachers”was held in Chenzhou city on December 27, 2013. 100 outstanding teachers from the districts and counties of Chenzhou city were awarded with 100,000 yuan rewards in the ceremony.

“Star cup outstanding teachers award”(formerly known as“star education award”) is a reward funded by Chenzhou Star School and jointly organized by Chenzhou Education Bureau and Chenzhou Education Foundation. It was purposely to commend and reward the teachers and educators who contributed excellent work on the education, teaching and school administration. All teachers from public and private middle schools, primary schools and professional institutes are covered into the system. Till now, it is 12-year-old for this reward.

It was introduced that award is a cooperation among star schools, government departments and non-government organization, which is knee on promoting the development of Chenzhou city’s education. It was stated by the principal of Chenzhou Education Foundation that “star cup outstanding teachers award” played active guiding and demonstration functions on Chenzhou city’s educational circles and encouraged the educators to work well and contribute themselves on Chenzhou city’s education. It helped to promote all the society to show respects to teachers and value education as well.

Li Xiping- Deputy Director of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress, Jiang Taosheng- Director of Chenzhou Education Foundation and He Jianxiang- Deputy Director of Chenzhou Education Foundation attended the ceremony.
