It was reported that the team of 2014 “trans-old revolutionary area education-aid trip” held by Chenzhou Education Foundation visited Yizhang county- hometown of comrade Deng Zhongxia (the revolutionary martyrs) and headstream of Xiangnan Intifada from July 2-3, 2014. 750,000yuan was donated to Yizhang county to assist its improvement of education.

It was introduced that Yuxi town of Yizhang county was covered with mountains and local per capita disposable income was just 3800yuan in 2013. Due to such poor economic condition, local education condition was very poor as well. Though the buildings of its Zhanghan School were repaired many times in current years, some potential risks were not settled fundamentally. Furthermore, some other facilities as canteen, playground, toilet, and etc. needed to be rebuilt. There were just 2 teachers in this school, and their offices were extremely poor.

In order to upgrade the children’s studying condition, 200,000yuan donations were placed to Zhanghan School after the leaders of Chenzhou Education Foundation visited the school personally.
