It was reported a signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation among Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Zone, Changsha Yali Middle School, Canada Ottawa Saint Mark’s School and Chenzhou Shicun Middle School was held in Chenzhou city on December 10, 2014. The four parties reached the agreement to establish “Chenya International School” in Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Zone. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee witnessed the signing ceremony.

It was introduced that Canada Ottawa Saint Mark’s School is one of the excellent middle schools of Canada. According to the agreement of the strategic cooperation, Canada Ottawa Saint Mark’s School would provide the supports of English teaching, overseas studying, certificates of oversea score, and etc. for the new school with its international advantages and English teaching advantages. Changsha Yali Middle School would guide the school management and teaching of the new school by its high quality resources of education management and teaching staffs. Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Zone would cover the construction of the new school into its general plan of development and provide favorable policies on recruitment and other aspects. Chenzhou Shicun Middle School would handle the plan, design and construction work for the new school with its geography advantages and financial advantages. All four parties would work together to support the management of the new school, keep its regular performance and upgrade its teaching quality.

It was introduced that the agreement reached for“Chenzya International School” was an innovation for the mechanism and model of joint school-running, which indicated that Chenzhou education market was being promoted to Hunan province and the world. From now on, Chenzhou city would keep promoting the cooperation among Chenzhou cities and other parties on school management, education reform, teachers training and communication, joint school-running, oversea studying, and other aspects, would enhance the supports on Chenzhou city’s education and would improve the development of elementary education of Chenzhou city.

Some municipal leaders of Chenzhou city attended the ceremony. Liu Weichao- Principal of Changsha Yali Middle School, Yang Zhengping- Director of Canada Ottawa Saint Mark’s School, Gong Wangsheng- “ two bombs and one satellite” scientist of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xu Jinming- Director of Management Committee of Hubei Photovoltaic Engineering Technology Center and some other principals of Chenzhou city’s subordinate departments were present at the signing ceremony.
