On September 16, the County Science Association, the Propaganda Department of the County Committee, the County Education Bureau, the County Health Bureau, the County Agricultural and Rural Bureau, the County Economic and Commercial Bureau and the County Association of Old Scientific and Technological Workers jointly launched the propaganda activities for National Science Popularization Day.

The theme of this year's National Science Popularization Day is "Praise the Republic, Wisdom New Life". At the event site, various departments publicized the knowledge of agricultural planting, disease prevention and control, health care, practical science and technology to the people in the past by hanging banners, setting up exhibition boards, on-site explanations and distributing propaganda materials. More than 3000 publicity materials were distributed on that day.
