On April 21, a seminar on the work of the city's education foundation in 2021 was held. The meeting summed up the work of the city's education foundation in 2020 and the work arrangements for this year.

In 2020, the total expenditure of the city's education foundation on poverty alleviation was 200 million yuan, accounting for 98.6 percent of the total income of the previous year. 51800 students from poor families were subsidized by the activity of "caring for students" and more than 48.9 million yuan of grants were granted; more than 34000 teachers were benefited from the activities, with an expenditure of more than 32.9 million yuan. Our city spent 7.22 million yuan on base construction and activity fees for the "Love inheritance" activity, with 406600 students participating. A total of 251 schools were subsidized in the city for building, internal facilities construction and school expansion, with an expenditure of 106 million yuan, helping to improve school running conditions and solve the problem of children of migrant workers going to school; 181 educational and scientific research projects were funded with an expenditure of more than 4.09 million yuan, which played a due role in improving the quality of education and teaching and developing rural education in an all-round way.

In 2021, the overall goal of the Municipal Education Foundation is to raise 120 million yuan to meet the basic needs of career development. More than 30000 students will benefit from the "Love education program", more than 20000 teachers will benefit from the "Love candle action", and more than 400000 students will benefit from the "Love inheritance program". We will cooperate with the Education Bureau to do a good job in the collection and management of school and kindergarten construction fees in the urban planning area; research and innovate the project activities of "subsidizing educational research", subsidize educational research projects and research topics, reward educational research achievements, and help improve the quality of education and teaching; do our best to support school construction, help schools improve school running conditions, promote the integration and common development of urban and rural education, and play a positive role in rural revitalization.
