Special interview with Li Quanqiang- Deputy Director of volleyball management center of General Administration of Sports of China

“We have expected to hold the volleyball games in this old training base in Chenzhou city for a long time. Now, it is the right time to be here with such new stadium.” said Li Quanqiang who is the Deputy Director of volleyball management center of General Administration of Sports of China.

Li stated that there was a close connection between Chenzhou city and China female volleyball team. Thanks to the great efforts tried by Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government on the volleyball game issues, such as stadium construction, preparation work for games, investment attraction, etc. Currently, all the preparation work were handled out well under preset time schedule.

Li expressed his expectation to both Chinese female and male volleyball team that though there were tough competitions for both two teams in the second half year, they were working hard to fight for it with their unique features, especially for the female team with the new leadership of Lang Ping. Sincerely hope both of them can achieve sound results in the following competitions.

“As a volleyball worker, the good results achieved by both the female and male volleyball teams which show the upgrading of China’s comprehensive national strength and people’s living condition was my China dream. ”said Li Quanqiang.
