Basketball game

It was reported that 2013 basketball game of Chenzhou departments was started on September 7, 2013. 34 teams attended this 10-day lasting game.

Cao Jian- Director of Chenzhou Government Affairs Center said: “recently, different kinds of sports games were held in Chenzhou city, which greatly helped to promote the establishment work of ‘sports city’. It was purposely to enhance the communication among different departments of Chenzhou city and strengthen the close relationship among cadres and staffs. It would be also helpful to stimulate people’s passion on the sports events.”

According to the time schedule, this basketball games would be divided into two phases: first for round robin matches, and second for knocked-out competition. “Sports Morality Award”, “Outstanding Organization Award” and some other special awards were set for this basketball games.
