Swearing conference for volunteers serving for 2014 World Volleyball Championship Asian Qualification Finals was held in Xiangnan University on September 17, 2013. 110 volunteers from Xiangnan University, Chenzhou Normal School and Chenzhou Volunteer Association attended the swearing.

2014 World Volleyball Championship Asian Qualification Finals was the first international volleyball games undertaken by Chenzhou city, though it was the training base of China women’s volleyball team for so many years. In order to make sure the games can be handled out well, 110 volunteers selected from Xiangnan University, Chenzhou Normal School and Chenzhou Volunteer Association were organized to serve for the games. All the volunteers were well trained before working for the games. The key work for them were translation, team service, prize presentation, security, guidance, medical treatment, cheer squad, etc..
