First wheelchair race for the disabled was held in Chenzhou city

Opening ceremony of first wheelchair race for the disabled was held in Wuling Square of Chenzhou city on May 23, 2014

Though the 17-year-old girl- Cao Yanyan did not win any award in the race, her mother was still proud of her participation in this race

It was reported the first wheelchair race for the disabled was held in Wuling Square of Chenzhou city on May 23, 2014. It was purposely to help the disabled to conquer the difficulties and join in social life again by holding this activity, and also to call for more people join in the loving aid activity to help more disabled people. It was also one of the activities to promote Chenzhou city’s civilization construction.

All the racers were wheelchair disables from Chenzhou city. 50x10 group relay race and 50-meter personal obstacle race were held in this activity. Zhang Ziqiang who was from Yizhang team won 50-meter personal obstacle race and Zixing team won the group relay race.
