It was reported that the mountainous section of 2014 International “Trans-China” Cycling of Bazhong stop was closed in Nanjiangguang foggy mountain. Kamil Gradek from BDC Marcpol won the game after 2-hour competition.
Nanjiangguang foggy mountain- Nanjiang county downtown section which was 122.5kms long was the first mountainous section of this stop. One first class climbing point and one HC climbing point were on the way, accounting for 1000meters. There were tens kilometers downhill roads along the trip, which was great challenge for the competitors.
Continuous heavy rains in Chongqing city before the competition made the roads wet and slippery, so the organizing committee decided to cancel the first class climbing point and record the result from the HC climbing point. That was why the whole group kept the stable speed at the beginning, and then went up to over 65kms/hour on the long downhill roads. Many accidents happened when riders drove on the curving roads, but not so many injured.
Four honor shirts were gained by Kamil, Marco Zanotti of Italian team, Kollidole Nino of Columbia team and Zhao Jingbiao of Chinese team with yellow, blue, dot and white shirt respectively. This result was totally different from the earlier stop.
