It was reported the 5th section of the first stage of the 5th Trans-China International Cycling was carried out in Pengzhou city, Sichuan province on September 3, 2014. After more than 2-hour cycling, Grischa Janorschke from Vlakenburg Team of Austria won the first place.

That section was circuit which was different from the earlier two sections mountainous competition. There were 3 sprint points and one HC climbing point which was the final HC climbing point for the stage along this 101.5 kilometers long section. That HC climbing point for the stage’s big height differences from 634 meters high, to 1093 meters high and then 892 meters high made the riders feel like enjoying “Roller Coaster”.

The owners of yellow and white shirt winners kept the same place, while the dot shirt and blue shirt owners were changed to Victor Nino and Boris.
