It was learned from Chenzhou sports working conference that in order to check and show Chenzhou city’s development of competitive sports and mass sports, the first Chenzhou Municipal Game would be held there.

In recent years, the establishment of sports city was being well promoted in Chenzhou city. Over 40 sports events of different level and different categories were handled in Chenzhou city. Over 0.1million people were involved into the events and the amount was kept increasing continuously. The power of Chenzhou city’s competitive sports was kept upgrading as well that ranked in top 6 list of Hunan provincial teenager and children perennial game for 2 consecutive years and won 7th place in 12th Hunan Provincial Games. The sales of sports lotteries set new records repeatedly that the total sales volume was accumulated to 620million yuan in three years. The first Chenzhou Municipal Game was listed as one of “2015 top five events” of Chenzhou city. It was planned to be held in this August- October and would be divided into teenager and adult group. The items for teenager group would be as follow: football, basketball, volleyball, ping pong ball, badminton, tennis, athletics, and Wushu. The items for adult group would be as follow: football, basketball, volleyball, balloon volleyball, Wushu and 3-person basketball, 4-person volleyball, and 5-person football. The registration time is April 15, 2015. All citizens are encouraged to register in their communities. As required by the conference, the ideas should be unified to enhance the responsibility of improving sports industry and try best to handle the first Chenzhou Municipal Game successfully. It also required that the sports facilities construction should be upgraded continuously by highlighting the key points, and it should follow marketable operation to undertake the international and domestic sports events to enrich people’s sports life.
