Zhang Wangli is one of the excellent representatives of up-rising stars of Hunan women’s weight-lifting team. She is 19years old now and attended the adult match from this April. In the match of this games, Zhang didn’t give any chances away and won the champion with the total score of 265kgs (115kgs for Snatch and 150kgs for Clean & Jerk) which was 18kgs more than the silver medal winner.
There is a saying that Hunan team is “half the sky” of China weight-lifting team and Guiyang team is the backbone of Hunan team. From the first Youth Game, we can learn that it is really a truth.
