Qu Hai attended the closing ceremony

The closing ceremony of first Chenzhou Games was held in Yizhang county after all schedules for it were completed on October 23, 2015. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City announced the closing of the first Chenzhou Games.

This Chenzhou Games was followed the theme of“splendid games, passionate dream” and was divided into primary and secondary students group and adult group. 5600 athletes attended the matches of 20 items as basketball, football, balloon volleyball, tennis, ping-pong ball, badminton, swimming, Wushu, cycling, Chinese chess, Go, bridge, and etc. during the 39-day games from September 15 to October 23. It is highly helpful to promote the coordinate development of mass sports and competitive sports, enrich people’s sports life, and improve the construction of sports city, national fitness city and national civilized city by handling the games. It is an “intense, splendid, cultural, harmonious”sports event.
