Recently, the “Yingdong Cup” 22nd Sports Meeting of Middle and Primary Schools & 11th Faculty Sports Meeting was held in Zixing City. Li Shangde- Vice President of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee, Lei Xiaoda- Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City, and Wang Dong- Vice President of Chenzhou Municipal CPPCC attended the opening ceremony.

It was learned that 1134 athletes and 350 faculties from schools of counties, districts and subordinate departments attended the meeting. 18 groups will attend the competitions of five items as athletics, aerobics, badminton, Ping Pong ball, and air volleyball on this meeting. The meeting would be last to this Nov. 18.

Lei Xiaoda delivered a toast on the opening ceremony. As stated by Lei, this meeting is an important measure for implementing the education plan of the Party, as well as practical demands for cultivating the strong minds and healthy physiques. Lei sincerely hoped that all the athletes can carry forward the spirit of Chinese Women Volleyball Team and compete fairly.
