On June 24, the responsible person in Linwu County introduced that the county was identified as the "national youth campus football pilot county (district)" by the Ministry of National Education, which is the only finalist pilot county in our province.

In recent years, in order to create the national youth school football pilot county, Linwu County has set up the national campus football pilot county leading groups and campus football offices in the county government, 13 townships and 62 schools, to form the three linkage organization network of "the county, township and school". The county also has made the work programs to inspect the school football teaching and training per month, campus football activities, football venues and other aspects. Linwu has put the football education into the teaching content of compulsory education and physical education. All the schools in the county must arrange a section of football classes for each class per week and high schools must set the football elective courses; in accordance with the four levels of "class, grade, school, county" to respectively set up the football team, a total of 62 schools have set up 142 male and female football teams and 6 male and female county football teams in primary school, junior high school and high school.

The county took the youth campus football competition activities as normalization. The county set up the three levels league system of "the county, township and school", organized the county's primary and secondary school student football league each year, and actively participated in the parent organization of the football matches. The county won the championship of Chenzhou primary school women's Football in 2015; won three 3 prizes of the primary school men's group, primary school women's group, and junior high school women's group in Chenzhou campus football match last year. 5 people were selected in the Chenzhou primary school women's football team, and 2 people were selected in the provincial campus football team to participate in the national youth women's football.
