In the morning of October 29th, the 6th Feitianshan Danxia Landform "Mountain Running Race Challenge" officially opened in the Feitianshan National Geopark in Suxian District. More than 1500 climbers from around the country gathered in Feitianshan to participate in the challenge.

The Feitianshan Danxia Landform "Mountain Running Race Challenge" has been successfully held five times since 2012. The number of participants developed from 500 people in the first session to more than 2000 people in the 6th session, covering Guangdong, Guangxi, Hubei, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Fujian, Zhejiang, Anhui and other places.

The challenge was hosted by the Hunan Provincial Mountaineering Association, Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Press Publication, and Chenzhou Municipal Tourism Foreign Affairs Bureau under the support of Chinese Mountaineering Association. The activities set up the professional competition group and experience tourism group, including cross-country race, mountain climbing, 70 meters rock fall and rubber boats. This year's competition is more difficult and the racing line is more twists and turns. The total mileage of mountain running race is 68 kilometers, the cumulative climb height of 1773 meters, while the track last year is only about 30 kilometers.

After the fierce competition, Tan Hailong, Sun Yulong and Nie Jingxing respectively won the top three of professional men's mountain running race; Fu Lingling, Yang Yan and Huang Liang won the top three of professional women's group.
