The competition, consisting of the men’s elite group, the men’s middle-aged group, and the women’s group, attracted more than 400 amateur cyclists from Guangdong, Shanghai, Zhejiang and other places. 

 

It is a bicycle climbing race, with a total length of 15 kilometers from the entrance of Mangshan Mountain National Forest Park to the parking lot of Tiantai Mountain Scenic Area. The entire race track has a height of nearly 1,000 meters, with the starting point at an altitude of 505 meters and the ending point at an altitude of 1,486 meters. Many athletes experienced this race track for the first time.

 

 

During the competition, there was a magnificent sea of clouds in the scenic area. cyclists not only felt the joy of competitive sports, but also could experience the beauty of the natural scenery. 

 

“It was indeed quite difficult during the final four kilometers, but I didn’t give up. It was very enjoyable to ride on such an ecological track,” said a contestant from Changsha City, adding that it was the first time for him to participate in such an event and he hopes to have the opportunity next year.
