This event introduced cloud orienteering, frisbee open competition, and paddleboarding open competition to ignite the passion of the masses for sports and promote the further development of outdoor sports through innovative activities.

 

More than 1,200 athletes and over 20,000 tourists from Hong Kong, Guangdong, Hubei, Jiangxi, Guangxi, Hunan and other places participated in the event. A “Utopia” campsite music carnival was also held. Such programs as DJ performances, band performances, and interactive entertainment activity continued to warm up the on-site atmosphere, making people immersed in the harmonious integration of music and nature.

 

In recent years, Beihu District has made efforts to protect and restore the ecological environment of the Yangtian Lake Grassland through the forest chief system with the scenic area development company. The Yangtian Lake Grassland has won honors such as “National 5C Campsite”, “Hunan Provincial-level Tourism Resort”, “The Most Beautiful Alpine Grassland Leisure Campsite in the South”, and “2023 Typical Case of Innovative Development of Leisure Tourism Destination”.

 

In addition, Beihu District has spared no effort to promote the deep integration of tourism, technology, and commerce. It has built 4 themed scenic spots and 1,041 sports venues, and hosted more than 40 large-scale sports events at all levels. It has been included in the first batch of national sports and fitness model areas.
