The 2024 Professional Driver (Linwu) Rally will be held from November 15 to 17 in Wolong Valley and Ziwei Tianxia Scenic Area of Fenshi Town, Linwu County, Chenzhou City. More than 100 drivers from all over the country will participate in the race.
At the Wolong Valley Eco-Agriculture Resort, excavators are leveling the track. The track winds its way between green mountains and clear waters.
“There are about 50 vehicles in the race this year, and the competition will be much fiercer.” Compared to last year, this year’s rally has been upgraded in terms of scale, number of drivers and track settings. The track section in Ziwei Tianxia Scenic Area will allow drivers to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery of Linwu.
Lei Hailin, the organizer of the event, introduced that hosting the rally in November this year is to show the harvest scenes and unique charm of Linwu, especially the Linwu pomelo right for picking.
This rally will last for three days, with tracks for the qualifying session and long-distance race, with a total mileage of 87 kilometers.
Lei Hailin said that holding a rally not only showcases Linwu’s achievements in cultural tourism, industry, and agriculture, but also enhances Linwu's visibility and influence.
He hopes to upgrade the rally to a national or even international level event through several years of efforts, and hopes to hold this event in Linwu in the future.
