Fifth Chenzhou Mind Sports Games held

The fifth Chenzhou Mind Sports Games was held at Tengfei Sports Center in Chenzhou City on January 18.

Nearly 800 athletes from 11 counties and districts in the city participated in six competitions, including weiqi (a game played with black and white pieces on a board of 361 crosses), Chinese Chess, International Chess, Checkers, Bridge, and Gomoku. 
 
The Chinese Chess King Challenges were held in 11 counties and districts and the winners will challenge the national champion Xie Yejian.

This games, as a practice of implementing the national fitness program, aims to enrich national fitness activities, promote the popularization and development of chess and card sports in Chenzhou, continuously improve the level of sports, and create a chess games brand in Chenzhou.
