20 projects covering 35 billion yuan were signed in the ceremony

It was reported that investment condition introduction & key project promotion conference for national demonstration area of south Hunan undertaking industrial transfer was held after the opening ceremony of the trade fair on November 28, 2013. 49 projects of three cities of south Hunan province were signed on site, amounting with 61.48 billion yuan investment. 20 ones of Chenzhou city with 35.26 billion yuan were signed there, ranking the first place among the three cities.

Sheng Maolin- Deputy Governor of Hunan province, Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, and some Hunan provincial leaders, Chenzhou municipal leaders, Hengyang municipal leaders and Yongzhou municipal leaders attended the conference.

Sheng Maolin gave a brief introduction about Hunan province’s current situation and the development condition of the demonstration area of south Hunan undertaking industrial transfer and promoted 447 key projects to the attendants. “Many favorable policies on land, tax, labor force, water and electricity supply of financial institutions, etc. were issued to the demonstration area by Hunan government. Furthermore, local government of the three cities releases many relative policies as well to assist the further development of the demonstration area. All of them would be helpful for all merchants to place their investment in south Hunan cities.”said Sheng, “With the sound industrial accessories, perfect undertaking platforms, good service condition, and favorable policies, demonstration area of south Hunan undertaking industrial transfer would be further upgraded well.”
Mayors of the three cities of south Hunan presented their promotion speeches on the conference in turn.

Qu Hai- Mayor of Chenzhou City delivered his speech firstly. The advantages of Chenzhou’s location, transportation, historical culture, mineral resources, environment condition, etc. were highlighted on Qu’s speech. Qu also introduced the undertaking industrials transfer work and achievements as well. Qu said: “the 147 projects selected by Chenzhou city are on different areas as new industrialization, modern service industry, agricultural industrialization, construction of industrial parks, infrastructure, and etc. Welcome to visit Chenzhou city, no matter business investigation, investment or travel.”

Zhou Haibing- Deputy Secretary of Hengyang Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Hengyang City and Zhou Zhihui- Deputy Secretary of Yongzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Yongzhou City introduced the conditions of Hengyang and Yongzhou city accordingly afterward.

49 projects covering 61.48 billion yuan investment were signed on site, 60.26 billion yuan of which was introduced outside. 20 ones, 15 ones and 14 ones were signed by Chenzhou city, Hengyang city, and Yongzhou city respectively. 27 of them are industrial manufacturing projects, 4 are energy and city infrastructure projects, 1 is agricultural industry project and 17 are modern service projects.
