Passengers were getting on/off the train

When reporters arrived at Anren railway station, K161 line from Xuzhoun to Nanning arrived there 18minutes earlier than its schedule. Chen Bolin took her seat after checking luggage and ticket. She became the fist passenger who got on the train from Anren railway station. The train drove from the station at 14:48 after receiving the 140 passengers from Anren county. It was a significant moment that Anren county where was used to be an old revolutionary area without train was facilitated with the train finally.

It was introduced that 6 pairs of 12 lines trains would pass Anren railway station, while four pairs of them such as K636 (Kunming- Fuzhou), K161( Xuzhou- Nanning), K1137(Qingdao- Nanning), and K538( Nanning- Shanghainan) would stop at Anren. Anren people can travel to Shanghai and. Nanning directly from their county without changing lines from now on. Facilitated with Jiheng railway, a golden tourism belt for Guilin- Shigu Academy- Mount Heng- Yan Emperor's Tomb- Jinggangshan- Ruijin- Xiamen- Taiwan would be improved greatly. Anren people and other people near the county can travel more conveniently as well.

Jiheng railway was started from Hengyang city and ended at Jinggangshan and Ji'an city, which was about 291kms long with designed speed of 160kms/hour( reserved speed of 200kms/hour). This railway passes by Ji'an and Jinggangshan city of Jiangxi province, Yanling, Chaling, Youxian county of Zhuzhou city, Anren county of Chnzhou city and Zhuhui district of Hengyang city of Hunan province, which was an important channel to connect with Jingguang railway and Jingjiu railway of China.

It was significant for Anren county to be facilitated with this railway. Its agricultural products such as rice, edible Fungi, and etc. can be delivered to Shanghai, Nanning and other big cities more easily. More travelers from Yangtze River Delta can come to enjoy Anren county's filed park more conveniently.

Concerned for the design of Anren railway station, it applied superior concept to build it with the capacity of carrying 200,000 passengers flow. Its waiting room and square were big enough to handle great amount people. Besides carrying passengers, Anren railway station is also capable to handle the freight trains. A pair of freight train was planned to be placed to operation on this August 30.
