In order to fully implement the spirit of 18th National Congress of CPC by building a more beautiful Suxian district, the promotion conference of implementing 10 environmental protection projects was held in Suxian district on November 28, 2012. The implementation arrangement, treatment work and coordination work requirements were clearly figured out on the conference.

It was stressed on the conference that all the departments should unify the idea and should awake their awareness to carry out the environmental protection project. To implement the project well, all the departments need to highlight the key point to conquer primary problems first, be integrated and coordinated, grasp three keys such as resource integration, coordination and regions, increase the investment, strengthen the technological support and pay more attention to the environmental landscape construction.

According to the report, 10 environmental protection projects were as followed: heavy metal pollution control project of Xiangjiang river (Suxian district), nitrogen oxides emission reduction project, urban sewage and garbage disposal facilities project, integrated treatment project of rural environment, development project of environmental protection industry, environmental regulatory capacity construction project, clean energy promotion project, central city fumes noise pollution remediation project, restore governance project of mining geological environment, and environmental protection project of Shanhe reservoir.
