Hot weather with high temperature for a few days has threatened Hunan province, so that many people choose to go to Guidong county which is honored as the natural air conditioner in Chenzhou city to spend their summer holidays.

Guidong County has unique ecological advantages with 82% forest coverage. In recent years, concentrated on forging China to be “Health maintenance heaven, summer resort”, Guidong has forcefully carried out the three-year greening project. Till now, 195 million yuan has been invested on the greening with more than 100,000 trees planted in the county, Santaishan Park and osmanthus road greening demonstration projects have been finished, and the greening demonstration belts on 106 national Road and 322 provincial Road built. Road greening of 283kms, water greening of 41kms, and barren hills &wasteland afforestation with more than 40000mu have already been fulfilled.

According to the “five ones” project requirement of Guidong county’s tourism development, Linglongwang international hotel, the second session of military regulations square and other “ten tourism projects” were boosted with great effort. Meanwhile, Santaishan Park was successfully constructed to be national AAA landscape and Muqiu village was built to be provincial five -star village tourism demonstration spot. Furthermore, more red theme, ecological, folk and cultural tourism resources were developed by Guidong county by actively melting into great south Hunan, Jianggangshan, Hunan-Guangdong-Jiangxi tourism great plates for its ecological tourism upgrade.
