Guided by the idea of “building a resource-saving and environment-friendly society”, Rucheng county of Chenzhou city well balanced the development of urban and rural areas and made a good use of small hydroelectric resources. In recent years, the usage of solar energy PV semi-conductor lighting has been actively popularized to remit the tense of energy resources, realize the energy conservation and emission reduction, and promote the urban and rural ecological civilization construction. All these efforts greatly benefited the rural masses.

“Ten cities, thousands Lightings” project was launched in Chenzhou city in the earlier days. In order to make better preparation for the on-site conference of new style urbanization and demonstration town of Chenzhou city, which was held in Rucheng county, the county government accelerated the “lightening Rucheng” project. 15.2 million yuan funds were integrated on installing 300 solar energy PV semi-conductor lights on the public places streets, and the lightening task was fulfilled on 106 national roads and 12 towns and 100 villages along the road.
 

Now, Nandong county, Xiaoheng Yao minority town, Yanshou Yao minority, remote villages and minority towns are actively taking part in complementing the lightening project. With the light of new solar photovoltaic semiconductor green lights lit, the mountains and water of Rucheng become greener, towns and villages more beautiful.
