2012 China Hunan International Tourism Festival will be held on Zixing Cultural Square. It was learned from the construction site that all the festival projects were carried out fluently as the planning time schedule to confirm that all tasks can be finished before the opening ceremony.

In order to make the best preparation for this international festival, Zixing government has invested 3 billion yuan on 31 fine tourism project constructions, such as image•Dongjianghu lake cultural street, Dongjiang river dam port reformation, small Dongjiang river scenery transformation, Doulv karst cave remold, Dongjiang river driftage, etc.. The working policy was strictly practiced to supervise the constructions.

Projects like trestle road for fogging viewing of small Dongjiang river, pseudo-classic architectures of Dongjianghu lake scenery entrance and image•Dongjianghu lake cultural street are under good construction.

Thanks to the opening ceremony of 2012 China Hunan international tourism festival to be held in Zixing city, its tourism project construction and tourism industry transformation upgrading were accelerated. According to Zixing’s planning, there will be 10 billion yuan invested on tourism development in the following 3 years. In order to make it better, the government consulted with different experts and relative experienced organization planners about the idea of Zixing tourism to popularize Dongjianghu lake internationally.

Since Dongjiang driftage, luxury yacht, classic painted pleasure boat and other tourism projects are opened to public this year, Zixing tourism infrastructures and service levels have been improved greatly, which helps the tourism industry achieve a successful breakthrough. Now more visitors from pearl delta, Yangtze River Delta, HK and Macao came to Dongjianghu lake. According to the record of Zixing tourism department, from July 20 to 23, there were more than 6300 visitors from domestic and aboard to Zixing.
