Qingjiang orange is famous for its thin skin, sweet and juicy taste which was specified as the fruit for 1990 Beijing Asian Games. After its developing for more than 20 years, Qingjiang orange garden is expanded to have better yield capacity and upgrading quality with 23000 mu areas. Now Qingjiang orange becomes one of the key economy back stones for local people. According to the natural laws, this year may not be the productive year for Qingjiang orange. But thanks to the abundant rainfall well matching the orange production period, new and practical technologies are applied to the control of plant diseases, land fertilization, water-saving irrigation etc., so that the newly planted orange trees entered the fruitbearing period and the orange farmers encountered with a fruitful year too.
