Chenzhou to host 2nd Hunan Tourism Development Conference

The second Hunan Tourism Development Conference will be held in Chenzhou in 2023. To ramp up efforts for the high-quality development of cultural and tourism industry, Chenzhou city has set up a high-level leading group and issued relevant policies.
Moreover, A blueprint to build a billion-yuan cultural tourism industry and 100 cultural tourism projects, and to implement ten measures has been mapped out, so as to build a well-known tourist destination at home and abroad in the new era.
According to Wu Jupei, secretary of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee, Chenzhou is now cooperating with the preparation for the city’s tourism development conference, and will go all out to host the second Hunan Tourism Development Conference, hoping to contribute to the transformation of the tourism industry in Hunan affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
"After the second Provincial Tourism Development Conference, we will step up efforts and do the utmost to ensure that, during the 14th Five-year Plan period, it will receive reach 110 million tourists and the total cultural output value and tourism revenue will exceed 130 billion yuan, with the added value of culture and tourism industry accounting for more than 10% of GDP," noted Wu. Determined and confident, Chenzhou has spared no pains to prepare for the second provincial tourism development conference in all respects.
