The Rural Happy Run kicked off in Rucheng County on December 22. Nearly 10,000 runners participated in it. 

 

 

The rural scenic belt along Leishui River was unveiled to the public during this activity. It includes many projects such as square, hiking trail, homestay inn, restaurant, indoor swimming pool, water projects, and supporting facilities, with the total area of 59.88 hectares. It connects many traditional ancient villages such as Chengguo Village of Quanshui Town and Shiquan Village of Maqiao Town. 

 

 

Runners could enjoy the joy of running, appreciate the historical culture and human landscapes like Lianxi Academy, Xingcun Ancient Village, and Chengguo Village along the way, and feel the vitality and vigor of rural revitalization.

 

 

This competition consisted of a 20-kilometer individual run, a 10-kilometer team run, and a 5-kilometer family run. It aimed to create a new scene of promoting travel and showcasing culture through competition, and promote the integrated development of agriculture, culture, tourism, and sports in Rucheng.
