On June 10, the 2018 Hunan Energy Saving Week, Low-carbon Day launching ceremony and CESEXPO opening ceremony started in Chenzhou. Yi Pengfei, Provincial CPPCC Vice President and Chenzhou Party Secretary, attended the launching ceremony and announced the opening of the event. Bi Junsheng, Deputy Director of Department of Energy Saving, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology attended the launching ceremony. The responsible person of member units of provincial and municipal leading group on energy saving and emission reduction, Municipal and State Development and Reform Commissions, Economic and Information Technology Committee, Administration Departments of Organ Affairs, relevant enterprise representatives and more than 1000 people attented the launching ceremony.

June 11-17 of this year is the 28th National Energy Saving Week with the theme of "Energy saving and defend blue sky". June 13 is the National Low Carbon Day with the theme of "raising awareness of climate change and strengthening low-carbon action". This year's launching ceremony was held in Chenzhou, jointly with the first CESEXPO, aiming at further enriching the contents of the energy saving publicity week and the low-carbon day in our province, expanding the audience, improving the publicity effect, strengthening the consciousness of saving energy and low carbon, accelerating the application and promotion of advanced technology and frontier products in the field of energy saving and emission reduction and new energy, and promoting the work of saving energy and reducing carbon in our province.

The launching ceremony was co-sponsored by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Economic and Information Technology Committee, the Provincial Administration Departments of Organ Affairs and the Chenzhou Municipal People's Government. The starting type launched a typical case of energy saving and recycling of resources in Hunan Province, and distributed the energy saving and low carbon manual to the participants free of charge, and the energy saving and environmental protection bags and other related materials.The typical cases of energy saving and recycling of resources in Hunan Province were released at the expo, and the relevant materials such as energy saving and low carbon manuals,and energy saving and environmental protection bags were distributed to the participants for free.
