In recent years, Jiahe County has taken many measures to protect and inherit Jiahe Wedding Songs, fully tap the value of the folk art and make them a shining cultural name card of the county.

 

 

Training classes have been given for free irregularly at the 2 municipal-level wedding song inheritance bases of 1958 Cultural and Creative Park and Leigongjing. Up to now, a total of 6 training sessions have been presented and more than 200 Wedding Songs lovers have received training.

 

 

In order to cultivate inheritors of Wedding Songs, Jiahe County has invested 1.4 million yuan to build the 1958 Cultural and Creative Park and Leigongjing inheritance bases. More than 300 cadres have been trained to sing Wedding Songs. A folk song art troupe has also been set up to cultivate inheritors of Wedding Songs.

 

Jiahe County has constantly strengthened cooperation and exchanges with famous schools and experts, and invited music scholars to Jiahe to discuss the marriage culture and encouraged famous singers to release music albums of Wedding Songs.

The county has also renovated the traditional exhibition hall for performing Wedding Songs in Leigongjing Village, which will be opened to the public every Saturday. The intangible cultural heritage items have been displayed in Jiahe Pavilion of Chenzhou Changjuan, attracting a large number of tourists.
