The 2024 Anren Spring Equinox Medicine Festival (also known as Ganfenshe) was held at Shennong Square of Anren County recently.
There are about 90 businesses in the herbal medicine hall, about 150 stalls in the TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) hall, about 130 sellers in the agricultural products hall, and about 60 stalls in the food hall at the main venue of the festival. There is also a large parent-child playground.
In the herbal medicine hall, the fragrance of different herbs filled the air. The sellers were introducing the efficacy, uses and processing methods of each medicinal herb to customers.
There were also quite a few young people strolling around and carefully selecting the herbs they needed. They listened to the stall owners talking about their collecting rare herbs.
In the TCM hall, each stall is filled with Chinese medicinal materials, like Chinese angelica, Lycium chinensis, and precious herbs, with each of their names written on a card.
In the agricultural product hall, there are local agricultural and sideline products from Anren, as well as food from other places of the country. Citizens were selecting such products from various stalls, bargaining with vendors to get the best deal. The vendors introduced the taste and advantages of their products to customers, inviting buyers to have a taste before purchase.
In addition, the parent-child playground was full of laughters, with children playing on the swing and parents taking photos of their happy children.
