Yongxing Dabujiang Quilting Embroidery is a provincial intangible cultural heritage protection project, which won the title of "The most beautiful and rare old handicraft in Hunan" in 2015 and was named the "Top 10 most potential traditional skills projects in Hunan". In order to support the development of the rare and traditional skills projects, and boost the prosperity of cultural undertakings, Chenzhou Jiusan Society members and He Juan, inheritors of Dabujiang quilting embroidery will create a large quilt embroidered scroll work with the theme of "The belt and road". In order to complete the work, Jiusan Society Chenzhou Municipal Committee called some members with cultural and artistic specialties to hold the special seminar in the organ meeting room in the afternoon of September 14.

The seminar was hosted by Pan Zhikun, who is the Vice Chairman of Chenzhou CPPCC and Chairman of Jiusan Society Chenzhou Municipal Committee. At the meeting, He Juan first introduced the ideas and pre-preparation of Dabujiang quilting embroidery scroll work with the theme of "The belt and road". Under the charm infection of the quilting art, the participants made an active discussion on the ideas and propaganda, planning time and design team selection, and put forward their own ideas and suggestions. 

In the end, Pan Zhikun delivered an important speech and pointed out that the large quilt embroidered scroll work with "The belt and road" theme is a very meaningful work, which not only carries the good wishes of Chenzhou people, but also interprets the craftsman spirit of the intangible cultural heritage inheritors and shows the different styles of Jiusan Society. He hoped everyone could work together and gather the wisdom to help He Juan complete the work as soon as possible.
