It was reported that the opening ceremony of third China Dongjiang Lake (Bailang) Peach Flower Festival was held on ring lake road on March 22, 2015. Thousands-mu pink peach flowers of the ring lake road, peach flower island of Bailang, and some other places blossomed on the mountains and presented a unique and beautiful image for the visitors. Over ten thousands of visitors enjoyed a romantic spring trip there.

It was introduced that focused on Bailang’s ecological and cultural resources, the peach flower festival was divided into three plates as vigorous Bailang, romantic Bailang and cultural Bailang. Some activities as TV figures show, push-and-pull contest, alpaca show, peach flower faeries returning home, campfire party of Yijing, premiere of local film “Return to Peach Island”, photography contest,and etc. would be held on the festival.

Zixing city held this China Dongjiang Lake (Bailang) Peach Flower Festival for three consecutive years from 2013. Peach Flower Island becomes a name card of Dongjiang Lake’s spring. It was learned that the festival would be last for about 10 days. The activities held on the festival is significant to improve the development of ecological and leisure tourism industry of Zixing city, popularize the fame of Dongjiang lake ecological landscape brand and promote regional tourism and overall development of urban and rural areas of Zixing city, and accelerate the industrial transformation of Dongjiang Lake area.
