Jiahe county which was famous as “casting county of south China” was the last stop for the special reporting team of “Trans-Chenzhou Ecology Trip & Establishment of National Forest City”. Though Jiahe county was the exclusive main county of Chenzhou city on non-forestry industry, it formed a unique pattern on its practical condition which enabled local people to enjoy the natural life in ten minutes after stepping outside.

In the early morning, Jiulaofeng landscape where was located in the downtown of Jiahe county was welcoming its first guests.

Lei Shurong got used to walking here every morning. She often could not help singing on seeing this beautiful scenery.

It was 8:00p.m. when reporters arrived at the square on the foot of Jiulaofeng landscape, some people gathered here and enjoyed their leisure lives well. Tang Jigan and Li Shanshan who got married for the reason of dance over 20 years ago liked to dance when they were free. Once the square finished, they used to be there to enjoy their dancing time.

Beside Jiulaofeng landscape, other “four parks” as Nanling Ecological Park and “six squares” as Sports Square, People’s Square were available in Jiahe county now. Over 20 greening sceneries and 51 small gardens were finished in Jiahe county in last 3 years, which granted local people with the greening view in 500meter radius.

In order to facilitate the parks and gardens through the county, Jiahe county carried out a project called “facilitating parks and gardens in the countryside” and required that at least one ecological demonstration street and 1000square meters big small park should be available in every village.

Tiangangtou village in Yuanjia town was the birthplace of casting industry of Jiahe county. Assisted with the renovation of old villages, it built some small parks by removing the pit privies, dangerous houses and pigsties.

When reporters arrived at Hengdong village of Chentou town, they found that the village was full covered with green trees and the total areas of 8 small parks were over 1200 square meters. Zeng Tianqing- one of the villagers there said to the reporters that the environment condition became much better now after replacing the pit privies by the small parks.

It was introduced that 78 demonstration villages of greening construction were established in Jiahe county and more than 17,000 square meters colored ponds were increased there in recent three years. A beautiful ecological scenery of“village in the forest, flowers in the village” was available in the county now.

Shennong Square was followed the idea of Shennong to highlight the significant history role played by Jiahe county on agriculture. 3 similar symbolic squares were built in Jiahe county.

At the meantime, followed the planning idea of “being economic, beautiful and one scenery for one road”, Jiahe county finished some upgrading project for the greening of Guijianing road, Jiahe Avenue, Shennong road, and etc. A beautiful urban road greening views were granted to Jiahe county.

By handling this trilogy, Jiahe count’s urban area was covered with 2.40million square meters greening land and its per capita greening land was about 144.91 square meters now. If you come to Jiahe county, you would be amazed to enjoy its greening ecological environment.
