The 26th Guangzhou International Travel Fair (GITF) was held in area C of Canton Fair from March 1 to 3.

The GITF, as the largest international travel fair with the earliest history and the longest time held in China, has become an international professional exhibition, covering outbound tourism, inbound tourism and tourism awards, which is most concerned by domestic and overseas tourism industry after 25 years of development.

On the opening day, the Southern Metropolis Daily and Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of Tourism and Foreign Affairs jointly organized a press conference on the "traveling to China, entering into Chenzhou" series activities, attracting many media guests and the vast audience to have a strong interest in the tourism resources of Chenzhou.

The fair opened an annual event for the tourism industry and Hunan Baoshan National Mining Park as a representative of Chenzhou tourism resources was displayed at the fair.
