Benefaction to people- to upgrade living condition with more leisure time

“It should be a well-being project to benefit local people with better living condition.” – promised by Chenzhou government’s leaders at the beginning of launching the greening project.
Facilitated with more convenient infrastructures and better living condition, Chenzhou people can tell the great changes of the city from their daily lives.

Li Yuan whose parents operated a grocery store in front of Chenzhou Hotel was born after 1985.

In order to establish the small garden in front of Chenzhou Hotel, Li’s parents’grocery and other stores there need to be removed in 2011.
On learning that news, Li and her parents were shocked and could not understand why the government gave up the profitable stores but chose the garden which was useless but viewing.

But three years later, Li Yuan’s cafes which was opened near Chenzhou Hotel was operated well and the family finally realized the significance to build the small garden by replacing the stores there.

“Most of the guests came here to enjoy their leisure life with a cup of coffee. Maybe some just stared outside without saying anything.” Li said, “I felt that the time past slower when I saw the guests sit there.”

Some cafes with different styles were popular in Chenzhou city in current years.

“It is important to select a good place for the cafes.” introduced by one of the principles of a cafe near the gate of Beihu Park, “ parks and gardens were the best places of cafes for the guests can enjoy the greening view and fresh air there with a cup of coffee.”

Some successful examples can be founded from the developed countries to upgrade people’s living condition by facilitating the city with beautiful and greening views. Taking Manhattan, New York for example, the Central Park which was set in its financial center enabled the area to be one of the most livable areas of the world.

A city where is full of gardens and parks can make people feel more sentimental. Currently, go to the parks nearby to enjoy their leisure lives becomes the most favorable choice of Chenzhou people.

An exterior café was opened in Bayi road, Chenzhou city in the early of 2014. Chen Qian who used to study in France said to the reporters that on sitting this café, he felt like coming back to France.

He Ming who chose to settle down his outdoor club near Wangxianling said to the reporters that he operated a outdoor club in Changsha city for over 6 years.

He came back to Chenzhou city on learning that Chenzhou city was on the process of greening projects construction in 2011.

“Chenzhou city was the exclusive city of Hunan province that set over 10 parks in urban area.” said He Ming.

Currently, 2-3 times of outdoor activities were held by He’s club every week in some parks of Chenzhou urban area, such as Zhangshuling park, Wangxianling park, and etc.

Facilitated with these parks in mountains, a new fashion of outdoor sports became more popular in Chenzhou city.

“Better environment condition, more people will go for outdoor activities.” considered by Yan Naixin- an expert of mass sports. He also said that the quantity of outdoor sporters can tell a city’s ecological condition.

Over one hundred kilometers green road network connect some parks of Chenzhou city with one another, which helps to grant the cycling fans favorable cycling tracks.
