It was reported that Liu Hesheng- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee investigated the ecological and leisure gallery of Xishui river recently. After viewing the beautiful scenery along the river, Liu stated that all the work of new rural construction, regulated rural housing construction, ecological civilization construction, tourism development, and etc. should be promoted together to help to forge an intercity ecological and leisure gallery in Hunan province even China.

Xishui river is near Chenzhou central area, Guiyang county and Yongxing county, where is with beautiful ecological scenery, convenient transportation condition and profound culture. Four sections of the river are with their unique features, such as Longduling- Daxi ancient village section’s high mountains, deep valleys, streams, bamboo forest, and edible wild herbs; Daxi ancient village-Tongheji town section’s small rivers, fields, ancient trees and ancient villages; Tongheji town- Gangjiao ancient village section’s green mountain, pure water, villages and green vegetables; and Gangjiao ancient village-Tangmenkou section’s wide river, pure water, green field, ancient ferry crossing, and fishing boat and songs.

It was introduced by relative principal of this project that key efforts would be tried on one belt of Xishui river scenery belt, two roads of tourism road and intercity green channel, four sections of the ones mentioned above and eight joint points of Heyeping, Xiangyindu, Gangjiao, and other five ones.

Liu visited some villages on his investigation trip and stated that once the Xishui river ecological and leisure gallery project finished, an ecological and leisure special patter which was suitable for the development of Chenzhou great cross town cluster would be formed accordingly. Followed local practical condition, all project planning and construction work should be promoted with the new rural construction, regulated rural housing construction, ecological civilization construction, tourism development, and etc. to improve tourism industry and upgrade local people’s living condition as well.
