Deng Shaochang’s Huagu opera group was performing in Yanquan Garden

Once dressed up, the 70-year old guy- Deng Shaochang started his Huagu opera performance like a professional actor.

Deng who studies Huagu opera by himself with over 20 years is a retired doctor of Wanhuayan town. About 6-7 years earlier, he invited some friends to establish a Huagu opera group by themselves and performance in Yanquan garden since then. All the facilities were bought by Deng.

Deng said: “we can enjoy ourselves well by performing the Huagu opera to the audience. Some of them became our fixed fans. It worthies time to entertain people’s leisure life and make ourselves happy as well.”
