Preparing for the expo
It was reported that the second scheduling conference for 2014 China Hunan Tourism Industry Expo was held in the meeting room of Chenzhou Tourism Bureau of Foreign Affairs on September 3, 2014. Chenzhou Tourism Bureau of Foreign Affairs, Chenzhou Finance Bureau and Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center attended this conference.
2014 China Hunan 5th Tourism Industry Expo was a tourism industry grand meeting authorized by Hunan Provincial Government and sponsored by Hunan Tourism Bureau and Chenzhou Municipal Government. As the largest scale exhibition of Hunan provincial tourism industry, it tried best to be improved as a platform for the exhibition of achievements of tourism industry chain, promotion of brands and trading of products by confirming tourism projects, landscapes lines, tourism service and products promotion as its key contents. 2014 China Hunan Tourism Industry Expo would be held in Chenzhou city from Sep. 19-21, 2014 in Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government paid great attention on handling this expo. A high level preparation committee was set up to organize the preparation work and held times of scheduling conferences. All the units of the executive committee of this expo jumped into actions to carry out the relative work accordingly and gained some substantial progresses. The estimated scale for this expo is 30,000 square meters, including 1+1+13+11+N special stands and 400 standard exhibition stands. The key point for this expo is the theme image show for Hunan province, cities and districts. It will follow the model of “1+1+13+11+N” which refers to 1 tourism theme pavilion of Hunan province, 1 tourism theme pavilion of Chenzhou city, 13 tourism theme pavilions of other cities and autonomous prefectures of Hunan province, 11 tourism theme pavilions of the counties and districts of Chenzhou city, and N tourism theme pavilions which includes the pavilion of international tourist city, theme pavilions of Shaoguan city of Guangdong province, Ganzhou city of Jiangxi province, and other cities near Hunan province and Chenzhou city, comprehensive image pavilion of Hunan provincial key counties with special county economic and cultural tourism industry, comprehensive image pavilion of Hunan provincial strong tourism counties, comprehensive image pavilion of large scale tourism enterprises, and etc. It was estimated that 400 standard stands would be set for this expo.
Followed the accounting handled by Chenzhou Finance Bureau and Chenzhou Tourism Bureau of Foreign Affairs, a “budget for 2014 China Hunan Tourism Industry Expo” was figured out to provide the capital support for this expo. The members of executive committee of this expo accelerated the speed of preparation of the theme activities; the website of this expo was placed to operation; the selection of tourism products was on the process to collect gifts; the organization solutions for expo, forum of the development of Hunan tourism industry, music carnival, outdoor sports, interactive games, performances of Chenzhou local folk cultures, and etc. were confirmed; and the preparation work for the theme activities of this expo were proceeded well.
In order to promote the investment attraction, enhance the propaganda for this expo and upgrade its influence, a propaganda solution was figured out by Chenzhou city to carry out the theme propaganda of this expo in the Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta areas. At the mean time, “life and traveling channel” operated by Chenzhou Tourism Bureau of Foreign Affairs and Chenzhou Broadcasting the TV Bureau was opened to public. Chenzhou Government Office, Chenzhou Tourism Bureau and relative departments started to handle the preparation work of reception in the early of September. Some invitations were sent out to relative units of the State, Hunan province, cities, and etc.; numbers and recruitment solutions of the volunteers were confirmed; and hotels were booked.
With the efforts of all members of the executive committee, substantial progresses were gained for the preparation of the expo. Chenzhou city would keep handling the propaganda work to ensure it to be fulfilled successfully. It aimed to hold it to be a tourism products grand meeting with largest scale, widest influence and best efficiency facing the whole country and covering south China area.
