The year of 2010 is the toughest-fighting-year on the construction of tourism projects for Chengzhou City. 100 tourism projects have been implemented city wide, with a total investment of 20.105 billion yuan, of which 7 billion yuan is planned to be in place by the end of this year.

Up till the end of August, an overall investment of 4.98 billion yuan has been completed. Among the 17 key scheduling projects designated by the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee and the Chenzhou Municipal People's Government, 7 out of the 10 key projects at city level have started construction, and all the remaining 7 projects at county level follow suit.

Xiang Lili highly affirmed the fruits reaped in the Rucheng County, adding that further efforts should be made to ensure an all-round progress in tourism work and the construction of tourism projects, and to plan and forge the tourist resorts at a higher starting point.

Bi Hua, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee and executive vice mayor of Chenzhou City presided over the meeting. Other city leaders including Xiang Shuguang, Zhong Benqiang and Liu Guangming were present at the meeting.
