It was learned from Chenzhou Food and Drug Administration that there were new food and drug administration stations established in 184 counties and street offices with the rate of 100%. Food and drug clerks were set in all the communities and administrative villages.

The establishment of food and drug administration station was integrated into “well-being 100 projects” in 2011. The stations were placed into government agencies, and their staffs were integrated into administrative utilities allocation. The safety of food and drug was one of the responsibilities of grass root governments, and parts of administrative enforcements were authorized to county and street government offices by municipal and county bureaus. All the above arrangements significantly hung on the foundation of urban and rural food and drug administration.
