On August 20, 2012, one of the working style rectification activities - “governance through TV for enterprises” was held in Chenzhou non-ferrous industrial park. Principals from 19 Chenzhou municipal subordinate departments like Chenzhou municipal party committee office, Chenzhou government office, Chenhou discipline inspection commission, Chenzhou propaganda ministry, etc. visited Grand-pro technology and Grep new energy company and held a symposium afterward. On the symposium, four firms of the park such as grand-pro technology, Jushen electronics, Jinwang Bismuth industry, and Grep new energy company reported their working status to the officials and raised their problems which need to be solved urgently.

There are about 17 problems listed by the four firms like project land, customs inspection, financing, water & electricity, security and so on; the principals from 19 departments such as Chenzhou NRD, human resources and security, environmental protection, etc. answered the questions accordingly. Representatives of Hunan provincial NPC and Chenzhou municipal NPC, CPPCC, the Party, party working style supervisors and theory experts presented their comments on this activity.

Mao Tenfei pointed out that the main purpose for the activity of “governance through TV for enterprises” is the further transformation of cadres’ working style and solving the problems of enterprises on the process of their development. For the government, how to reflect its value? The value of our work is reflected in the service for enterprises, namely, the more services, the greater value, no service, no value. Mao also said, departments should be responsible for providing better services to the firms such as obtaining their demands at the first time, solving their problems and seizing as many opportunities as possible for improving the firms; departments should take the immediate action to solve the problems hindering the way and conditions should be created to solve the obstacles which cannot be resolved for the time being; departments should treat the enterprises well, creating a favorable environment for enterprise development.

With regard to the problems listed by the four firms, the relative departments should strengthen its monitoring supervision, ensuring to solve them fluently. All the departments should try to establish the long-term mechanism for solving the relative problems, and reach the transformation from solving a single problem to relative problems, solving problems afterward to preventing beforehand, and solving specific problems to forming a useful mechanism.
