2012-09-04

It was reported that Chenzhou Beihu District Forest Public Security Sub-bureau uncovered a case of illegally occupation of the forest land. The detail was as follows: one villager rented the local responsibility forest for disposing mucks of real estate projects with the excuse of forest plantation. However, after getting the approval of the use of land, the villager just used 30 mu forest lands, taking the extra areas of 20 mu for the mucks disposing. According to article 342 of Criminal Law, the villager was suspected of illegal occupation of agricultural land and was filed for investigation by the Beihu District Forest Public Security Sub-bureau.

In recent years, inspired by the profit, many villagers locating in the joint of rural and urban areas dropped to the illegal land occupying behaviors. Some of them even discarded the environmental protection, and occupied some forest lands for house renting, real estate exploration, muck disposing, and other illegal actions. In order to enforce the forest resource protection, Beihu Forest Bureau has started the special action for regulating illegal forest land occupying, forest overexploiting, disordered mining, etc. from this August. The key points for this activity are as follows: illegal forest land usage without the government approval, illegal land occupying over range and overdue, defrauding for getting land usage approval, forest overexploitation, disordered mining, etc.. All the illegal behaviors should be legally settled and all the destroyed lands should be recovered by the breakers in due time.
