Xiang Lili: keep encouraging cadres to serve to the public

“The main purpose of working style rectification was to keep encouraging cadres to serve to the public, rather than deal with cadres and issues relentlessly and ruthlessly.”which was stated by Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee when he was interviewed by the reporter of “Oriental Outlook” on April 15, 2013.

“The great working style rectification” carried out by Chenzhou government attracted many news medias attention to take the report. Last year, the Wang Qiguang- editor-in-chief of “Oriental Outlook” and Fu Tianming- journalist of “Oriental Outlook” visited Chenzhou city last year after Chenzhou issued many rules to carry out the working style rectification and released a profound report “Chenzhou Working Style Rectification Storm” in “Oriental Outlook”. They came to Chenzhou city again this year to follow up the actions taken by Chenzhou city on the working style rectification.

Once questioned by the reporter that “till now more than 2200 people had been blamed on the process of this working style rectification, will this kind of condition affect cadres’working enthusiasm? ”, Xiang Lili stated- cadres working enthusiasm was stimulated by this working style rectification with better service sense to serve for public. People and foreign merchants in Chenzhou city were impressed with the improved working condition of Chenzhou government cadres.

Xiang also stated that there would be a new evaluation system issued to upgrade the administrative efficiency of all the departments. The evaluation results collected from the enterprises and social service objects can tell the working effect evidently.

Xiang Lili answered that during such critical period of transformation and development, besides keeping carrying out working style rectification, Chenzhou city should try different ways to accelerate the reform and opening up to build a international and modern Chenzhou with the advanced experience of “Pearl River Delta” and Chenzhou city’s location advantages.
