Better driving role should be played by leading companies to promote the improvement of agricultural industrialization

On May 2, 2013, Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City visited Linwu county to investigate the county’s agricultural industrialization and projects construction. Qu stated that more support should be placed on the leading agricultural enterprises to improve their driving role on promotion of agricultural industrialization

After visiting some main projects invested by strong enterprises in Huatang town, Qu stressed that more leading enterprises on agricultural industrialization should be introduced by the county government to develop and cultivate more agricultural industrialization companies with local features. Meanwhile, better leading role should be played by those companies to improve the standardized and intensified modern, green and ecological agriculture.

Next step of Qu’s trip was Beixi village where was with good improvement of purple yam production. After learning that purple yam cultivated area has kept for more 50,000mu in five consecutive years with annual amount of 140 million yuan, Qu said purple yam industry should be further upgraded with the farmers specialized cooperatives. Furthermore fine product processing industry should be improved to forge the industrial chain and create private brand, and agricultural industrialization and new rural construction should be combined to upgrade the living condition of the rural area.

Qu also visited Sanshiliuwan wind power plant, Dongjia electronics, Shunhua duck group, and some other projects sites to learn more details of their improvement. Qu mentioned that project construction played an important role in the promotion of economical transformation development, the county government should provide the best service and support on them to make sure they can be fulfilled with high quality and eventually helped to promote the county’s further development.
