Chenzhou delegation return to Chenzhou city after successfully finished all the agenda of the session

On May 31, 2013, Second Session of the Twelfth Hunan Provincial People’s Congress was closed in Changsha. Xu Shousheng and Du Jiahao were voted as the Director of Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee and Governor of Hunan province respectively.

50 representatives of Hunan Provincial People’s Congress from Chenzhou attended the session. They were led by Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Mayor of Chenzhou City, and Zhong Benqiang- Director of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee.

The key task of the agenda was to elect the Director of Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee and Governor of Hunan province.

All the members from Chenzhou delegation did their job well to attend the agenda and fulfill all the tasks accordingly. At the meantime, Chenzhou city’s economical and social development condition was introduced by the delegates in some proper situation which helped to upgrade Chenzhou city’s popularity and influence. It was considered that the session was important to be held during the key period to accelerate the speed of well-off society construction of Hunan province with the spirit of 18th NPC.

All the delegates from Chenzhou city expressed their high passion to study the spirit of this session to do better work and promote further development of Chenzhou economy and society.
